
Grand Master Robert Zang is the founder, owner, and chief instructor of Zang TKD. He has been a professional martial arts instructor since 1995 and has studied Taekwon-Do since he was four years old. He holds the rank of 9th Degree Black Belt and has been certified by Taekwon-Do pioneer and legendary Grand Master Park Jang Soo.
His passion for his art and his students is undeniable as he teaches most classes personally to ensure he is fully invested in each member of his do-jang; Grand Master Zang’s primary mission is to help people become better in every aspect of their life, not just in martial arts. Zang TKD is rooted in the original, traditional version of Taekwon-Do.
His abilities have been recognized by the Pittsburgh Provident Charter School for students with Dyslexia where his adaptive style has made a big difference in many young lives. Grand Master Zang has a sense of community and can always be found stepping up to support local charities as well as participating in national fundraisers as part of his busy schedule.
His tournament achievements are too voluminous to list, but it is clear that when he steps into the ring, he aims to compete and represent his school with pride and determination. He has won numerous Grand Championships at both the national and international level.
Grand Master Zang grew up with strong family values and those same values are at the core of Zang TKD.
